Wisdom is the quality of having experience, knowledge and good judgement. It's the soundness of an action or decision. Wisdom is associated with attributes such as unbiased judgement, compassion, self knowledge, and self transcendence. Another word for wisdom is sapience, derived from the word sapient which simply means wise. And if you haven't made a small association with these words thus far I'll come back to it in a second. On the other hand you have intellect which is, a faculty of reasoning and understanding, and faculty per the definition states an inherit power or ability... Inherit?
That's another word for "passed down" or "taught" right? ...Yesss I thought so too!
Something that I know is when you know better you do better. New experiences present new information and insight. Your own personal experiences that wouldn't be like any other persons will provide wisdom for you as you go through trial and error, learning and applying new information through your own personal judgement, experience and knowledge. Do what works for you at the end of the day, as you are Gods personal manifestation and there's no other like you..
Soooo to get back to intellect, that is something that is taught to another based on ones personal experience but also other peoples experiences and their views, typically opinions work their way into the mix, along with biases that stem from the fact that a lot of the time information is just misunderstood. What we have to do is start using and trusting our own judgement. Too many times do you look outwardly for the answers that we can figure out through our own understandings through inward reflection. Only you know what's best for you and the life you want to create and the experiences you want to enjoy. Start there.
**human kind per the dictionary are 'Homosapiens' which etymologically means "wise man"**
**emotions per the dictionary is "instinctive or intuitive feeling as distinguished from reasoning or knowledge"**
Your intellect may be confused, but your emotions will never lie to you. -Roger Eber
